Pinterest can be used in the classroom to find many things not just art projects. It can be used to find lesson plans and stretch the limits on creativity for a child. It is a great way for students to look up projects that they can use in any class. Recipes for Family Consumer Sciences. Art projects for art. Science projects where they can learn to grow plants and such.

Slideshow Tools

 Students can use this program to upload pictures that they find of an artist that they choose and present to the class. Also, can be used as a presentation tool to help the students collaborate with one another.

Creativity Tools

 This allows the teacher to create free educational games for the student! Can help the students learn new things while having fun! It will keep them entertained and they can have fun while they are doing it. Also can be used for creativity.


Easy-to-use brush tool that reacts to your gesture by combining simple motion controls with brush styles. Toss graphics around the screen or elegantly swing the brush around your cursor. Students can use this to simply paint or write out what they want to do with their project while using technology. 

Organzing Tools

Students you can use these tools on to organize their projects. Keep track of all your ideas, whether alone or with colleagues.  Organizing information in outlines with the ability to invite collaborators and live chat.

Drawing Tools

These resources are used for drawing and great for art students.  Enables to place models using real world coordinates. You are able to create, modify and share 3D models. In wordle, you can generate "word clouds" from text that you provide. You can be very creative with each and come up with so many designs.

Resource Tools

These are video resource links. They can use these to research videos on how to draw step by step projects. SnagFilms they can watch artist documentary.

Presentational Tools

   Google Sites can be used for research. Also, it is always edited and new information is on there everyday. You can collect all of the research you need all at once. My students can use this to look up different artists to do a project on.

All About Me

My name is Lindsey Bruce. This is my first year at Henderson State University where I am a junior. I have transferred from University of Arkansas Community College at Hope where I graduated with my teaching in Associates. I plan on graduating in May of 2017 with my Bachelors and begin teaching Art in an elementary school in Arkansas. Teaching has always been one of my many passions since I was a little girl. Both of my parents have always encouraged me to follow out my dreams so that it was I am doing. I manage two frozen yogurt stores and also work at a bakery while going full time to school, so time management is a huge part of my life. I can not wait to teach my kiddos one day and to impact their lives like my past teachers have done for myself.
